Custom Furniture and Furniture Quality Built-ins
Over the years, I have designed and created a variety of furniture and furniture quality built-ins. Among my favorites are my rocking chairs. Regardless of what I am building, I believe in collaborating with my clients to create a unique piece that best fits their tastes and needs. For example, my rockers are built to fit the size and shape of the individual client. One size does not fit all.

I do not have a set prices for my furniture because each piece of furniture is unique. My prices are based on type of wood used and length of project.
My rocking chairs are generally priced between $3,500 and $5,500. Each one of my rockers is made up of over 100 pieces of wood. Over a week is spent hand sculpting the chair. Another week is spent sanding the chair to a smooth finish. All together, it takes over 3 weeks of very labor intensive work to build each one.

Furniture Making Workshops
My woodworking shop is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway between Floyd and Ferrum, Virginia. It is here that I get my inspiration to create fine furniture. This atmosphere is perfect for learning. I am happy to offer furniture making classes to anyone who wants to learn the craft, especially rocking chair making.
